72 hours to make an ad, with no idea what the brief is until 5pm the afternoon the compeition starts. This is the creative challenge provided by the Cannes Young Lions competition and what a thrill it is.
Eng and I tried to keep our idea as simple as possible. Our job was to convince companies in the advertising industry to participate in the ALL IN census, organised by the Advertising Association of the UK in order to get a snapshot of the state of diversity and inclusion in the industry.
Winning this compeition meant we represented the UK at the Global Competition at Cannes Festival of Creativity.
