I honestly had no idea what Stargate was before I started this, and frankly I’m still not quite sure I do. That said I wanted to make something that felt a bit niche, speaking to the fandom of the show, while also being a bit goofy in a way that was accessible to people who hadn’t seen the show before.

The Stargate can take you anywhere, man. So Johnny Cash seemed like the most appropriate voice to take us on this journey. Of course the place names in the song wouldn’t match the ones on Stargate, so after hours of research on Stargate fan wikis I managed to put together a new list. A lot of work, especially to find characters saying the planet names in a 200+ episode series, but worth the effort for a result like this.
